A construction celebration was held on October 14, to celebrate the progress made to date.  Community members including kids from Orenco Elementary’s Life Skills Class, and people from Griffin’s Place were in attendance.  The mayor and other elected officials were also present to share their enthusiasm for this important project.  As part of the celebration, everyone was invited onto the site to scatter wildflower seeds that will add beauty to the park next spring.
