Preferred Design Concept

Hello, everyone! As always, thank you so much for staying involved in the design and development of 53rd Avenue Park West. We really appreciate your time and energy and are so happy that so many of you have been weighing in on the design and vision for this park. More than 300 of you responded to the survey questions during the last round of online engagement and you can click here for a summary of the community’s responses.

Based on all of the input we’ve received on the Design Concepts, we landed on a Preferred Concept that takes all of the most favored ideas and merges them into one cohesive design. There is a slideshow linked here that will take you through the site plan, zone by zone, and show you some inspirational images for each area. From here, we’ll be taking the design into the Design Development phase and then into Construction Documentation and Permitting, with the hopes of breaking ground in the Spring of 2022.
